How Can I Access SPSS?

LAVC students can access SPSS while on campus by using lab PCs in the Computer Commons on the second floor of the LARC building. Library computers do not have SPSS software.
In addition, students enrolled in LAVC Statistics courses may have off-campus / remote access to SPSS software. Follow the instructions below to access AWS Appstream SPSS software. If the instructions below, please contact your Statistics instructor for assistance.
- Open the link to the AWS Appstream SPSS software login area
- On the Microsoft Login Screen, enter your entire LACCD email address in the username field.
- This will open the blue and white SIS login screen. Enter the same username and password that you use to get to Canvas.
- On the AWS screen that opens, click "IBM SPSS Statistics" Icon.
- It can take 2 to 10 minutes for the SPSS software session to start so be patient.
- Once the session loads you should see an SPSS screen similar to the screenshot below:
